Ambiance owner Debbie Harwood puts the finishing touches on her outdoor holiday decor.

Debbie welcomes everyone to come visit Ambiance by the Sea, 530 Hemlock Street, during the Art Walk or from 11 to 5 Wednesday through Saturday every week. The gift shop is packed with an eclectic mix of locally hand crafted nautical home decor, gifts and souvenirs.

During Art Walk Ambiance by the Sea offers a generous table of finger foods and desserts. Remy, visiting from Australia, especially enjoyed the cheesecake.

Five ink drawings and watercolors by Dana Nelson are featured at Ambiance by the Sea this month.

Heading the lineup of stars at Kim's Garden Party, featured artist Billie Ruth Furuichi read from one of her books.

Willow Owings and Chris Vorster, aka Homemade Jam, performed at Kim's Garden Party during Art Walk.

The ever-popular Lon Goddard was also onstage at Kim's Garden Party during the Art Walk.
Kim's is located at 301 Oak Street and features garden party art and repurposed items.

Dorothy Marshall is Artist of the Month at Brian Scott Gallery. She was introduced and interviewed by Artist Christina Olsen (right in photo).

Dorothy is showing decorative items with wood and glass beads and wire wrapped stones. Necklaces in the same style will be available soon.

She is showing a mix of wire wrap jewelry, art quilts, embroidery, metal work and stained glass.

In addition to originals, prints, cards and clothing featuring Spencer Reynolds colorful Pacific Ocean art, Semi Aquatic Gallery at 654 Chetco Avenue also features a curated collection of hand-crafted and locally made gifts and home goods.

Kristen O'Neill is the Featured Artist at Manley Art Center this month. Kristen vicariously hiked the Oregon Coast Trail by painting the photographs that Pete Miller sent to her daily as he hiked the trail in 2016. You can view a portion of this collection at Manley Art Center during the month of July. The gallery at 433 Oak Street in Brookings is open from Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm.

Pete Chasar interviewed Kristen during the July Art Walk. She talked about her lifetime experiences in art and her time painting the Oregon Coast Trail series.

A trio provides musical entertainment on the new deck at Manley Art Center.

Joan Eddy, a member of the Pelican Bay Arts Association’s Mudslingers pottery group adds glazing to her work at Manley Art Center. Several members of the Mudslingers group were at work in the classroom during the July Art Walk.
