Nancy Tuttle's "Mail Art" is on display at the Chetco Community Library.
Nancy began drawing on envelopes in the early eighties. Nancy says: "For the most part I simply draw bodies onto the heads printed on current U.S. Postage stamps. I tried not to spend more than 30 minutes per drawing. Many of these envelopes were sent out as my annual Christmas and Halloween cards though most were sent with applications to promoters when applying to art shows. To date I've drawn well over 300 of these cartoons."
You can see many more of these hilarious drawings at the Library during the month of June, or on Nancy's website: http://www.nancytuttle.com where you can also see Nancy's beautiful 3D art.
Wood turnings by Mike Griffith Sr. are on display in the Library's lobby showcase.
