Invitation to Authors
To Join the Writer’s Table
at the Azalea Festival Art Show
Saturday & Sunday, May 27 & 28, 2023

Manley Art Center is adding a Writer’s Table at the Azalea Art Festival Art Show. Promoting the concept that writing is one of the arts, this table will feature local authors and their books.
Authors are encouraged to submit up to two of their published works (including self-published titles) and we will have space for five to ten copies of each of the books provided.
Books will be for sale, just like the rest of the art at the Festival. You may place any price you wish on your books. Please note that 25% of the sales price will be donated to the Pelican Bay Arts Association and you will receive 75% of the proceeds.
Books must be brought to the Azalea Middle School on Friday, May 26 between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Please ask for the Writer’s Table Volunteer when you arrive. There will be a form to fill out along with a one-time entry fee of $10 for members of PBAA and $15 for non-members. Your books will be placed at the Writer’s Table inside the building. We are also asking for all writer’s submitting books to provide up to one page of information covering the following:
● A brief bio
● The price of your book(s)
● A brief description of your book(s)
Please bring this information along with your book(s) you wish displayed for sale to the school on Friday evening, May 26.
The Festival is open to the public from 10:00 to 4:00 on Saturday, May 27 and from 11:00 to 5:00 on Sunday, May 28. Please plan on visiting the Writer’s Table between 5:00 and 5:30 on Sunday to pick up any unsold books. If you cannot, please make separate arrangements with the Writer’s Table Volunteer when you check in.
