The Art Walk is celebrating its 20th Season!
Manley Art Center is displaying Pet Art this month in collaboration with the South Coast Humane Society. SCHS director Jennifer Alcorn spoke about her work to rescue and give a second chance to pets. Donations for SCHS are being accepted at Manley Art Center and March artist of the month Adena Turner offered a custom pet portrait with the proceeds split between the artist and SCHS.
Manley Art Center is located at 433 Oak Street and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 to 4.

Ambiance by the Sea is located at 530 Hemlock Street and is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 - 5.
Forecastle Books is featuring the second part of a collection of art created by the late Jay Hannah. Hannah and store owner Mark Gattreau were friends and Gattresu inherited much of Hannah's work.
Forecastle Books is located at 553 Chetco Avenue and is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 to 5.

March featured artist Heidi Foss was interviewed by Pete Chasar at Brian Scott Gallery.
Heidi Foss is a relatively new resident of Port Orford where she is the founder and president of a new artist co-operative called The Creative Collective. She is looking for a home for the organization and would like to include space for other arts, including performing arts. When she saw the new classroom at Manley Art Center she said "This is my dream."
