Bill Schlichting of the Curry Coastal Pilot (also the person who creates the Art Walk Flyers each month) photographing Pete Chasar at Manley Art Center.

Pete often says "I like to make things" and he brought along many examples of his geometric creations. His seascapes are on the wall to the right.

At the Chetco Community Public Library you can see examples of the work of some of the artists who will participate in the Festival of Art in Stout Park - coming up soon on August 4 & 5. More photos of Festival of Art vendors' work.

The Chetco Community Public Library has a new director - Julie Retherford. A welcome reception for Retherford was held in the large meeting room where local artists are currently showing work with a Brookings theme - photos of the Bookings art was included in the July After-Art-Walk Report.

Sherryl Griffin is showing her kelp art at Ambiance by the Sea and demonstrated her craft during the July Art Walk.

Janeen Vick is the Featured Artist at Wright's for July.

Lynette McPhearson was in charge of the "great big teeny-tiny art show and silent auction" - a benefit for the Brookings Harbor Community Theatre remodel project in their new location.

Nearly 200 teeny tiny works of art were auctioned at a show held at Wright's.

At a reception during the July Art Walk the tiny art was accompanied by tiny treats.

Tiny awards were given in several categories. Nola Range received the "Queen's Choice" award for a 3"x3" painting of Whaleshead(chosen by Azalea Festival Queen Abbi Farmer).
