Art by the Sea Gallery & Studio members are happy to have found a new location for our Gallery in Bandon. The building we are currently housed in - Wheelhouse Restaurant - has changed ownership and the new owners want to turn our current gallery space into another restaurant.
We have signed a lease on a new building adjoining The Station Restaurant, 145 Fillmore Avenue SE, Bandon and anticipate moving over on or before February 15, 2018.

January:
Tues. Jan. 16 – Watercolor on Pastel Board with Colored Pencils with Kathleen Morey Bailey & Robin Hanna 12-3:30 $30 Bring along your watercolor paints & brushes. Max. of 6 students.
Sat. Jan. 20 – Getting into Shape with Acrylics with Jean Stephenson 11:30-3:00 with a short break for
a snack around 12:30-1:00 $35 Jean will provide canvases, paints, paper, & brushes. Maximum of 5 students.
Wed. Jan. 24 – Collage Group 1-3:00 $5 There is no specific instruction, just bring your own project,
materials and ideas to share.
Tues. Jan. 30 – Liquid Acrylics & Ink on Yupo Paper with Kathleen Morey Bailey & Robin Hanna 12-3:30
$30 Bring your own acrylics. Max. of 6 students.
Wed. Jan. 31 – Landscape Photography 101 with Matte Hanna 1:30-4:30 $40 Bring your camera & if you have a tripod, bring it, too. Max. of 5 students & min. of 2.

This class is three days long. During this time students will weave one basket. Maximum of 8 students
and minimum of 3.
**Sat. March 17 – Exploring Watercolor Techniques by Terry Magill 11-4:00 Cost: $36 Achieve your
artistic goals by learning fundamental watercolor techniques using large wet into wet washes and then
working into them with drier brushwork to give your paints a free, fresh look. All experience levels are
welcome. Feel free to bring examples of your recent work for discussion. You will need brushes, paper,
palette, water cup, and pencils. Please bring a sack lunch for the break. I’m looking forward to seeing
you there!

Classes in January will take place at Art by the Sea Gallery’s current location, beside the Wheelhouse
Restaurant at 125 Chicago Avenue SE in Old Town Bandon.
Classes in February and March will be held at the Gallery’s new location - 145 Fillmore Avenue SE in Old
Town Bandon, which is attached to The Station Restaurant and across the road from Forget-me-Knots
and Face Rock Creamery.
