The Brookings Second Saturday Art Walk hiatus is over, and the popular event resumes April 9 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. with two new venues—ABC Creations and Semi Aquatic.
To celebrate these new venues and the art walk’s return, there’s a special theatrical event at Dewey’s Digs, starting at 5:15 p.m. It includes preview performances by two local theatrical companies—Chetco Pelican Players and Brookings Harbor Community Theater.
As in the past, in addition to all the art and collectibles, there will be several other special events, including painting demonstrations and “meet the artist” opportunities.
Most venues will have live music, which, along with free refreshments, adds immensely to the friendly, festive art walk atmosphere. But should you miss any of it, there's an after-art-walk report right here.
