Early next year, Curry Arts will sponsor Rocks and Rolls with Paul Kingsbury, a free acrylic workshop, on Saturday, January 10th, 2015. It is tentatively scheduled for the Extension building at the Fairgrounds in Gold Beach.
Paul will show you how to paint an ocean scene with rolling waves crashing into rocks! If you love landscapes and ocean scenes, this is the class for you.
Paul Kingsbury's art portrays the power of the seas and beauty of the skies. His love for the surging seas and dramatic skies is reflected in bold, brilliant realism. His works are created in acrylics in the style of oils. Paul uses a variety of techniques including transparent glazes, thin washes, heavy accents, dry brushing, color blending and meticulous detailing. Visit Paul's website for examples of his art and biography: www.paulekingsburystudio.com.
The class will start at 10 am and go till 3 pm. If you are interested, call Sharon Guinn at 541-425-1213 or email her at [email protected]. The class is free, but we appreciate donations to help cover costs and keep our classes available to our community.
