Pete Chasar showed his "Rhapsody in Blue" collection and did a half hour painting at Brian Scott Gallery.
Usually it takes Pete Chasar a few hours to complete a painting. As a demonstration, Pete completed this painting in exactly 30 minutes.

During Art Walk at the Library The Chetco Pelican Players presented a scene from "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" -- the play will be performed Septemer 26 through October 12 and tickets are available at Wright's Custom Framing in Brookings and New Wave Video in Harbor. Yes, that's Brookings' own Bill Schlichting being haranged by Nurse Ratched.

Horst Wolf was among those who reminded us of all that Brian Scott has done for artists and the community in general. Elmo Williams talked about Brian's part in establishing Azalea Park. A rousing "Hip Hip Hooray" for Brian Scott was heard for several blocks.
