Artists of all kinds (visual, performing, literary and media) who want their art to be a self-sustaining business are invited to apply for Arts Salon II, a series of workshops offered by the North Coast Small Business Development Center in conjunction with the Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness (DNACA).
These seven workshops, one per month beginning March 20, 2013, will lay out the planning process, marketing, record keeping, legal issues, and more that are necessary for success. In addition to the salon, five basic business workshops and seven counseling sessions are part of the requirement.
Those interested need to fill out an application as soon as possible; the deadline is Wednesday, Feb. 20.
