To celebrate Redfish Rocks and our connection to the sea, the Redfish Rocks Community Team (RRCT) is hosting an “Ocean Inspired Art” art contest and auction. Ocean lovers who create art of the ocean or our local community stewardship area are encouraged to enter!
Featuring live music from the Pistol River Trio
- Entry is free and open to 3 groups: under 15, amateur, and professional artists
- All art is accepted (paintings, drawings, screen prints, sculpture, furniture, etc…); however, NO photography please. (We had a photo contest last year…trying to do something different this time!) Option to sell your art too, please see official rules.
- Contest entries open from April 2nd until May 19th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.
- Contest winners will be chosen by the attendees. Judging will take place at the Port Orford Community Building (419 11th St.) on Saturday, May 19th from 5 – 7 p.m. An ongoing slide show will highlight the photography of Port Orford (Photo contest entries from 2010 will be included).
