The first 2011 daytime meeting of the Chetco Photographer's Association will be held on Friday, January 7 from 10 am to noon at the Manley Art Center on Oak Street in Brookings. New members are WELCOME! Come learn more about digital photography and share what you know. The club meets the first and third Fridays of the month at 10 am, and another group meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. Some members attend all four meetings. Meetings are not mandatory - come when you can.
For each meeting the members photograph a "challenge" subject and submit 2 photos. This time the subject is "waves" - any waves, not necessarily ocean waves. The photos are reviewed and discussed at the meeting. Speakers present topics of interest, and members exchange their knowledge of cameras, photography, and digital imaging processes.
