Internationally renowned watercolor artist and instructor, Sterling Edwards, judged the juried art show at the Goldrush Center in Gold Beach. Edwards arrived in Gold Beach a week prior to the show to teach a five day watercolor workshop to a full house of students at the Pacific Reef Conference Center. In addition he gave a free evening watercolor demonstration at Gold Beach Books that was open to the public. His demonstration painting was immediately purchased by a memer of the audience.
Sterling Edwards is one of those artists who can not only paint and talk at the same time; he can paint, expand upon what he is doing, tell jokes, stories, and tall tales, and manage not to dip his paint brush into his coffee cup. All while he reliably produces a beautiful painting every time. His workshop was enjoyed by all who attended.
