Gold Beach's first juried exhibition is being held May 1 to May 3 at the Goldrush Center. Fine paintings in oil, acrylic, pastel, and watercolor are hung in the 30,000 square foot space which boasts "the longest and tallest walls of any gallery in Oregon".
Gold Beach Artist and art instructor, Alexandra Eyer demonstrated watercolor painting at the Goldrush Center on Saturday morning.
Gold Beach Artist Jeanne Steele demonstrated oil painting and provided free samples of Gamblin products.
At 4 pm on Saturday there will be a presentation of Chinese Dance and Calligraphy. At 7 pm Saturday evening a Gala Reception and Awards Presentation will take place at the center. The Gallery opens at 9 am on Sunday, May 3.
