The Art Gallery at Mory's is now a regular part of the Brookings Second Saturday Art Walk!
Several local artist's are now showing at Mory's - come in and take a look. On Saturday evening at the Art Walk, Christina Olsen demonstrated her wonderful, whimsical style at Mory's.
Across Chetco Avenue from Mory's guests enjoyed the music and Billie Ruth Furuichi's fabric art at Centre Stage.
Up the street at Studio 101, Chip Moore showed his wearable glass art and sculptures and Bette Sherbourne's work is displayed.
Down on Art Walk Alley Destiny Schwartz was showing at Firefly (The Cave off Art Walk Alley).
Here is Horst Wolf at Firefly -- no matter where he turns there is a camera pointed at him.
Pilot writer and photographer, Bill Schlichting (note that he hasn't put down his camera) joined Jan Marney and the rest of Horst Wolf and friends for some musical fun.

Across Art Walk Alley at Words and Pictures, Nina Paulsen was, as usual, at the keyboard. The watercolors/oils/acrylics of Richard Hinger are featured in the gallery.
A little further north on Art Walk Alley at Brian Scott's Dungeon, Dale Wells presented a retrospective of Brookings artist Jane Simmon's pastels.
Upstairs at Brian Scott's Gallery on Chetco Avenue, the Italian Dancers performed Italian folk dances. Earlier, dance instructor Debbie Weist discussed and demonstrated "The Hustle".
Sandy Bonny gave tours at the last Art Walk for Signatures Gallery in it's present location. At the end of March Signatures Gallery will move to a larger location at 656 Chetco, just north of the Rush Surgery Center. The Grand Opening will be held in April.
At Wright's Custom Framing (next to the Pilot on Chetco Avenue) Lon Goddard and Aura Wright entertained, the usual generous platter of delicious cookies was accompanied by hot cider, and in the far back behind Limericist Lynn you can see Artist of the Month, Diana Pierce.

The Brookings-Harbor Community Theater, directed by Dori Blodgett, presented excerpts from "The Legend of Molly Malone" at Chetco Library. On display at Chetco Library this month you can see the "Phabulous Photography" of Violet Burton, Jef Hatch, Tom Huxley and Paula Smith.
A full house at Manley Art Center and Gallery enjoyed a wide array of delicious finger foods....
plus the work of Artists of the Month, Audi Stanton and Janeen Vick, the music of Marshall Thompson, a demonstration of "wet on wet" oil painting by Don Ross from Sweet Home, Oregon, and the "still wet" oil paintings completed by students of the Don Ross workshop the day before.
What a wonderful way to spend a rainy evening!
