The Capella by the Sea, built by Elmo Williams as a memorial to his wife, Lorraine, was dedicated today. With a beautiful ocean view, this architectural masterpiece will seat 40 people and is an ideal place for weddings and special events. The December Brookings Second Saturday Art Walk began at the Capella by the Sea and Elmo Williams was there to discuss this monumental achievement and his work on behalf of Azalea Park over the past several decades.
Art Walk guests at the Capella enjoyed a "moment of silence" and then a talk by Elmo Williams.
Another seasonal addition to the Art Walk was the work of Southwestern Oregon Community College students and faculty (past and present). SOCC participates in the Art Walk every June and December.
Saun Stone and her Tai Chi class performed gracefully, surrounded by inspiring paintings.

Saun and Steve entertained.
Billie Ruth Furuichi (SOCC instructor) discussed her art with guests and also entertained with vocals and guitar.
