The Art Show at the 69th Annual Azalea Festival in Brookings, Oregon, included a judged competition of original art, original art for sale, live music, a raffle prize every hour, painting demonstrations, and a silent auction of art donated by local artists -- watercolors, oils, acrylics, mixed media, drawings, pastels, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, china painting, photography, and digital art filled the Azalea Middle School Gym during Memorial Day Weekend.
Art was categorized and judged according to experience level... Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Professional. Ribbons were given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each medium. Out of town judges, Barbara J. Mahon (Watercolor artist and instructor) and Richard Rahmlow (Photographer and executive Director of 2nd Street Gallery in Bandon, Oregon) had some tough choices to make.

The First Place Blue Ribbon for Mixed Media in the Professional Division went to Audi Stanton.
