Patricia V. Renner: Raised in Portland, Oregon, Pat received a B.S. from Portland State University and a M.Ed. from the University of Oregon. She taught art in Milwaukie (Oregon), Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and Gold Beach, covering the elementary, secondary, and community college levels. But, in the span of 33 years, she was a media specialist.
After retirement, Pat concentrated on watercolor explorations. At first, she painted landscapes and floral subjects. When she joined Alexandra Eyer in a weekly figure drawing/painting session, Pat felt wonderfully challenged.
Pat has been juried into shows sponsored by the Watercolor Society of Oregon, the National Watercolor Society, and the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, and is a juried member of Watercolor West as well as a signature member of the Missouri Watercolor Society and the Northwest Watercolor Society.

Tammy DeLaney: Living on the Oregon Coast is both beautiful and a challenge for a plein air painter like me. I enjoy painting on location and love the challenge of capturing a brief moment in time. I use a limited palette and complete each painting in one session. I interpret what I see before me using bold color and expressive brush work. I am self-taught but have taken workshops with Kevin MacPherson, Scott Christensen, Charles Sovek and Michael Ome Untiedt. Contact me at [email protected]

Don and Kay Jenson Gyotaku (Fish Rubbing). Gyotaku was used in the 17th century to record the size and species of fish caught. Today it is an art form practiced by a few experts around the world. Don was born and raised on the AuSable River in Michigan where his father was a fishing guide. Don was a commercial fisherman and guide on Oregon's Rouge River for about five years. Don's interests in both fish and art led him to Gyotaku. His work can be seen in galleries along the coast as far north as Alaska.
