Artisan Hall returns to the Curry Showcase building at the Curry County Fair on July24-27, Thursday through Sunday, in Gold Beach, celebrating with the fair theme of“Razzle Dazzle,” and an exhibitors theme of “Sew it, Grow it, Show it.”
The Hall features the Stout Mountain Railway with trains continuously traversing the animaginary local terrain populated by storefronts of local business as the central installation surrounded by the works of fine artists and crafts people of the area, along with demonstrations and instant creations, as well as the Oregon South Coast Beekeepers sharing the wonders of an observation hive. From the kitchenette in the corner, Casa de Oro is serving up their popular enchiladas.
Each artist is given a lattice panel (upright 4x8) for hanging paintings, photography or other art for sale. Artisans whose work is hanging on the wall do not have to be present as a cashier will be available to handle the receipts for the all sales. Wall spaces are FREE and the commission is only 20%. Artists who demonstrate for a minimum of 4 hours per day will receive free entrance to the fair for that day.
