Artoberfest, a new art fair sponsored by the Southern Oregon Guild, is one of two major arts events in the Illinois Valley, October 20th and 21st. At Artoberfest headquarters, located at the Rogue Community College Kerby Campus on Hwy 199 in Kerby, OR, visitors will meander through displays of beautiful watercolors, unique jewelry, art glass, fiber arts, ceramics, copper tooling, and woodcraft, accompanied by food and live music. Other Artoberfest art venues in Kerby are It’s a Burl, Kerbyville Museum, Seasons n Time, and Hampton’s Rock Shop. The 5th annual Valley Girls Quilt Show adds to the weekend’s Celebration of the Arts in the Illinois Valley.
