Brookings-Harbor Lions Club wishes to thank the community and stores for their support during the "2012 Community Calendar" scholarship fundraiser that sold over 700 (181 days-on-the-market) at $10 each featuring "Wild Rivers Coast" photography and community events. The Calendar Girls would especially like to thank the top seller locations Book Dock , Village Express Mail Center, Chetco Pharmacy and Feather Your Nest for their extra support . The proceeds will benefit Lions Club scholarship program for the Brookings-Harbor high school students through the Brookings-Harbor Scholarship Foundation (BHSF).
Brookings-Harbor Lions Club will be supporting our local food bank of Brookings-Harbor Community Helpers, Inc by giving extra calendars to the food bank.
For people who donate 10 pounds of food, you can pick-up a free "2012 Community Calendar" at the food bank starting Monday, Jan 23rd through Friday, Feb 3rd 2012.
The next Lions Club "Community Calendar Fundraiser Project" is in process. The public may enter photos and 2013 community events starting in March 2012. Project supporters may also add their organization’s name or logo at no cost to the "2013 Community Calendar".
