This year's Curry County Fair, from Thursday, July 29 through Sunday, August 1, will feature local fine artists, fine crafts persons and live performers by turning the Showcase Building at the Event Center into an Artisan Hall! The Showcase Building will be divided into booths/spaces for Curry County artisans to show and sell their work as well as a stage for performances. To add to the fun, demonstrations by the artisans is encouraged. The booth/space fee is free and the commission rate to the Fair is only 20%.
The kitchen area will sell food and there are plans for wine tasting too to bring fair goers past your display.
Hosts are a also needed to keep a watchful eye on the proceedings (and the exit doors) throughout the days from 10 am to 10 pm. Therefore, if you would like to reserve a space for your fine art and/or craft, or performance, or act as a host please contact Alexandra Eyer, the Artisan Hall Superintendent, at 541-247-6459 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
