If only I could be everywhere at once during the Brookings Art Walks! I sometimes miss really great photo oportunities...
like this one... These two Art Walkers "Strolled" through the galleries undetected by most... but local photographer Violet Burton looked twice into the baby stroller.
Brian Scott Gallery was, as usual, bustling with activity, music, and demonstrations. That's my "excuse" for missing the entire back wall where the gallery's featured artist of the month, Valerie Tucker, is showing some of her recent work. Today I went back to see her work and share it with you.
You can see Valerie's work at Brian Scott Gallery during the entire month of March. Beginning in April, Valerie will be listed on the "Brookings Artists Page" on wildriverscoastart.com with a link to her new website. Valerie recently moved to Brookings from the Seattle area. She is currently showing at Sage Gallery in Bandon and The Gallery of Arts and Culture in Crescent City. We look forward to seeing much more of her work.
If you take photos at any Brookings Art Walk and would like to share them, please email the images to info@wildriverscoastart.com. Include a description and names if possible. A picture is usually worth more than a thousand words, so if you don't know the names and have no description... please send your photo anyway.
