Late Bloomer Grants

The Festival of the Arts Late Bloomer Grant program announced three grant winners for 2008:
Bonnieruthcarperkarenm
Bonnie Ruth Carper, Harbor, OR - Watercolor
Karen McMahon, Harbor, OR - Writer
Nadine Long, Crescent City, CA - Printmaking

The LBG program began in 2003 and is open to anyone fifty years of age or older who demonstrates creative potential and applies for funds to continue their artistic development. This year's LBG awards bring the total grant monies distributed to $6,000 and the total number of recipients to twenty-four.
