What a great Art Walk! Saturday evening there was a real holiday atmosphere all over town. The rain was over and there was music, appetizers, and art at ten locations for all to enjoy. There were recitations, readings, and even an art demo.

Bill Ferry's fascinating images were featured at Words and Pictures - a wonderful little book store in front of an amazing art gallery.

New abstracts by Dusanka Kralj were up at Eye for Art where Lon Goddard and Aura Wright entertained with guitar and vocals.

At Manley Art Center and Gallery Art Walkers gathered to listen to The Ramblers and vote for their favorite themed works. Every month one wall of the gallery is filled with art inspired by two monthly themes. After the Art Walk the votes for the themed pieces are counted. January themes were "Dancing" and "Frames". Jean Beebe's "Tango" and Vi Burton's "Guarded Secrets" were voted the favorites this month.

At Central Gallery the large abstracts of Damien Hawthorne were complemented by "Whimsical Art by the Brookings 3" - Christina Olsen, Dale Wells, and Horst Wolf. The multi-talented Horst (standing, center) also provided musical entertainment. Horst Wolf and Friends warmed the evening with comtemporary jazz.
